We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher to provide 1:1 support for a student with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within a well-established Alternative Provision in the Leigh-on-Sea area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a learner's educational experience by delivering personalised support across all subjects.
About the Role
- Provide high-quality, individualised teaching to a student with SEN needs
- Adapt lesson content across a range of subjects to meet the student's learning style and developmental needs
- Work closely with the wider SEN and pastoral team to ensure consistency in approach and progress tracking
- Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment
- Build strong, trusting relationships to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour

- Strong behaviour management and resilience
- A positive, patient, and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
