Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or support worker who can support children in an SEN school in B61.
The school is for children aged 3-11 years with a wide range of learning difficulties needs from Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) to Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) including Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). In addition to learning needs some pupils have sensory needs including visual impairments, hearing impairments and multi-sensory impairments; some pupils also have complex medical needs.
Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and caring individual who can support children on a 1:1 basis or within small groups. Personal care may be involved. Located in Birmingham, the school is a short walk away from public transport.
The position is open to all experienced Teaching Assistants and support workers who have some experience in a similar role. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position., · 6 months experience in the UK
· Previous experience in a similar setting
· LEVEL 2 Teaching Assistant/or equivalent and above is preferable
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
