About the Role:

Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team on a temporary to full-time basis to support a Pupil Referral Unit based in Ellesmere Port.

Responsibilities

As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the academic and personal development of each student. You will need to have the ability to manage challenging behaviour and experience working with SEMH.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A degree in Education
• Ability to manage extremely challenging behaviour
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create engaging lessons
• Commitment to continuous professional development
• Enhanced DBS (On the Update Service)
• Challenging behaviour management
• SEN Experience
• IND-SEN
