The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

The teaching assistant will be required to work 5 days per week (8:45 – 15:30 and until 4:30 on alternate Tuesdays). You will be responsible for supporting students with complex needs and sometimes expected to work 1:1 with the students. Students are usually taken off site at least once a week and with all staff required to provide additional support.

The school caters for students aged 2-19 years old all with ASD, MLD, SLD and PMLD, usually in a class size anywhere between 4 – 10. The school are looking to take on full time members of staff long term only, which will look to turn into a permanent position.

You must have

  • Previous experience supporting students with ASD, MLD, SLD, PMLD

  • Must be Proactive, energetic and passion for SEND

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
