Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic professional to join our team, supporting Key Stage 3 learners in a nurturing and engaging environment.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN Teacher to work within a supportive and dynamic setting, delivering a curriculum that builds upon a strong primary foundation and follows the KS3 curriculum framework. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all learners, including those new to the school, are assessed and supported through our accelerated learning programme. Individual learning gaps are identified, and bespoke targets are set to ensure each child reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS3 curriculum, tailored to meet the diverse needs of our learners.
  • Support students in small group settings using a carousel approach to maximise engagement and retention of knowledge.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and track student progress, setting individual learning targets to support their development.
  • Contribute to the wider curriculum, offering activities that promote personal growth and new learning experiences.
  • Foster a nurturing and supportive atmosphere where learners feel valued and encouraged to achieve their best.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with SEN students, particularly in a Key Stage 3 setting.
  • A strong understanding of differentiated learning and personalised educational approaches.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students with creative and adaptive teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, working effectively with colleagues, students, and parents.
  • A commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
