SEN Cover Supervisor
We’re working with a brilliant specialist school that supports students aged 11-19 with a range of complex learning needs, autism, and physical or sensory impairments. The team is warm, welcoming, and focused on creating a safe, inclusive space where students can truly thrive.
Are you confident managing a classroom and passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
We’re looking for a committed SEN Cover Supervisor to join a supportive specialist school setting where every child is given the opportunity to thrive.
This role involves delivering pre-set work across a range of subjects, maintaining a calm and inclusive learning environment, and managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies. You’ll work closely with SEN teachers and support staff to ensure learners feel safe, engaged, and understood.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS:
Location: BURY
Position: SEN COVER SUPERVISOR
Start date: ASAP, September 2025
Contract type: Full-time, long-term
Minimum rate of pay: GBP110-GBP140 per day
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Experience working in SEND or specialist school settings.
· Confidence in managing a classroom and supporting students with EHCPs.
· A calm, adaptable approach with strong behaviour management skills.
· An understanding of supporting pupils with autism, complex needs, or physical disabilities.
· A passion for inclusive education and promoting student independence.
BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
– Hold Right to Work in the UK.
– Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application.
– Provide two professional child related references.
