Overview
Prospero Teaching is looking for a SEMH Tutor to deliver bespoke education packages on a 1:1 basis to young people that are not attending school. As a SEMH Tutor you must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils education and boost engagement and attainment levels. Most pupils will have been out of education for some time, so your responsibility is to reengage them in their learning and offer structure back into their daily routine.

You will work closely with Prospero Teaching to monitor the progression with each pupil and support effective learning.

- Duration: Likely dependent on each student
- Full time/part time: Part time and full time depending on availability
- Minimum rate of pay: (depending on experience)
- Hours: Minimum 1 hour per session and a maximum of 3 hours per session (15 hours per week)
Qualifications
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
- 6 months+ experience working as a tutor
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
Eligibility
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
