As an SEMH Tutor, you'll be designing and delivering lessons that are just right for each student, helping them bridge gaps in their learning and rebuild their confidence. The aim is to help them re-engage with education at a time when they might need it most. You'll be working with students who may have been out of education for a while, so your role is all about creating structure, offering support, and fostering both their academic and emotional growth during this crucial transition.

  • Position: SEMH Tutor
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract: Part-time (10-15 hours per week)
  • Pay: GBP25-GBP30 per hour
  • Hours: Sessions are flexible - 1 to 3 hours each

What You'll Need

  • Qualifications: QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS, or something similar
  • Experience: At least 6 months of experience working in a UK school, especially with students who have complex SEN.
  • Desirable: Up-to-date safeguarding training or personal care experience (not essential).

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Two professional references from the past two years
