About the Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is looking for dedicated SEMH Tutors to deliver bespoke 1:1 tuition to children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs across Central London and surrounding areas. As an SEMH Tutor, you will plan and deliver tailored lessons that support both academic progress and emotional development.

This role is ideal for experienced teachers, tutors, mentors or support professionals who are passionate about helping vulnerable learners re-engage with education. Many of the young people we support may be out of education, at risk of exclusion, experiencing anxiety, displaying challenging behaviours, or struggling to access mainstream schooling.

The successful SEMH Tutor will be confident building positive relationships, creating engaging learning experiences, and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential. Tuition can take place in a range of settings, including the young person's home, school, local library, foster placement, or alternative provision.

Prospero Teaching will work closely with you throughout each placement, providing ongoing support and monitoring pupil progress to ensure the best outcomes for every learner.
