About the Role:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with SEMH
- Create a supportive and structured learning environment to promote emotional regulation and resilience
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans and behaviour strategies
- Collaborate closely with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure holistic care and progress
- Track pupil progress, contribute to reports, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching SEMH or in specialist settings
- Strong understanding of SEMH, SEND, and positive behaviour strategies
- Ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Highly organised, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching and pastoral care
- Passion for helping pupils overcome barriers and achieve their full potential
To Be Eligible You Must:
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or be willing to apply)
- Be able to provide two professional child-related references
