Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term

Rate: 140 - 200 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

We are working in partnership with a highly supportive alternative provision in Bradford, supporting secondary-aged learners who thrive in a nurturing, trauma-informed environment designed to help them re-engage with education. The provision is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and relationship-focused setting where every student is valued.

As an SEMH Maths Tutor, you will play a vital role in helping learners develop essential numeracy skills, build confidence, and make both academic and personal progress.

As an SEMH Maths Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver Maths teaching to small groups or on a 1:1 basis, covering Functional Skills, GCSE content, and numeracy intervention.
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning plans and emotional needs.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships using a restorative and trauma-informed approach.
  • Work collaboratively with behaviour mentors, pastoral teams, and senior leaders to ensure consistent, holistic support.
