As an SEMH Maths Tutor, you will play a vital role in helping learners develop essential numeracy skills, build confidence, and make both academic and personal progress.
As an SEMH Maths Tutor, you will:
- Deliver Maths teaching to small groups or on a 1:1 basis, covering Functional Skills, GCSE content, and numeracy intervention.
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning plans and emotional needs.
- Build strong, trusting relationships using a restorative and trauma-informed approach.
- Work collaboratively with behaviour mentors, pastoral teams, and senior leaders to ensure consistent, holistic support.
