Prospero Teaching is recruiting confident and motivated Secondary Unqualified Teachers to work in schools across the Eastleigh area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong classroom experience who are looking to take the next step in their education career and gain valuable teaching experience within secondary schools.

As a Secondary Unqualified Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver pre‑planned lessons across a variety of secondary subjects
  • Lead classes independently and maintain positive learning environments
  • Support students in completing lesson tasks and achieving learning objectives
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and consistently
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of student needs
  • Monitor student engagement and provide feedback to teaching staff
  • Build positive relationships with students and colleagues
  • Support students' academic progress and classroom participation

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with young people in an educational or support setting
  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Tutor, Coach, or similar role desirable
  • Confident managing groups of students independently
  • Strong communication and classroom leadership skills
  • Resilient, adaptable, and proactive approach
  • Passionate about supporting young people and education
  • Able to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Graduates and aspiring teachers encouraged to apply

Contract Details:

  • Position: Secondary Unqualified Teacher
  • Location: Eastleigh
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Working Pattern: Full‑time
  • Pay Rate: Up to £130 per day
  • Key Stages: KS3 & KS4

Experience, Training & Safeguarding:

  • Previous classroom experience desirable
  • Experience working with young people essential
  • Safeguarding training can be provided
  • Teacher training aspirations welcomed
