Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced KS3-5 Music Teacher to fill a maternity teaching position in a secondary school in Watford, Hertfordshire. The position begins in January 2026 and will continue until the end of the academic year, and extend into the next school year.

This is a school where students' attitudes to learning are generally positive and thus progress. The behaviour is generally good, and Teachers here have high expectations, which are often met by pupils.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in Music or a relevant subject
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
  • A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
