Job Description

Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a well-supported department at a secondary school in the Forest Gate area. This exciting opportunity is open to both NQTs (Newly Qualified Teachers) and experienced educators. \\n \\nCONTRACT DETAILS \\nLocation: Forest Gate area \\nPosition: Maths Teacher \\nType of work: Maths Teaching \\nStart date: 23/02/2026 \\nContract type: Temp-to-perm \\nHours: Full time, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (plus parents evenings) \\nMinimum pay rate: Pay to scale \\n \\nEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS \\nQTS or equivalent \\nMinimum 1 year of teaching experience in the UK \\nUp-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year \\n \\nTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: \\nHold Right to Work in the UK \\nHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to apply for one \\nProvide two professional, child-related references covering the last two years \\n \\nOTHER INFORMATION \\nIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up-to-date CV.
