About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established secondary Catholic school in Woodford Green. The school is seeking a reliable, hardworking Cleaner to join its site team. This is a vital role in maintaining a safe, welcoming and hygienic environment for students, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste
- Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors
- Wiping surfaces, sanitising touch points and maintaining high hygiene standards
- Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the Site Manager
- Following all health & safety and safeguarding procedures
About You
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
- A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
