Prospero Teaching are looking for a Secondary Teacher to join an Alternative Provision in Salisbury, working within a supportive and experienced team in a setting where children are respected, listened to, and encouraged to play an active role in their learning. The school welcomes applications from teachers with a passion for working with children who are Emotionally Vulnerable. A specific subject specialism is not essential – what matters most is your ability to inspire, adapt, and create engaging learning experiences.

As a Teacher at the school, no two days will be the same. You’ll work within a flexible structure, supporting children and young people through bespoke, therapeutic educational frameworks that are carefully tailored to meet individual needs.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

Eligibility

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
