We are seeking a QTS SEN Tutor to join our team in Salford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learners working below expected levels. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalised one-to-one GCSE Maths and English tuition for SEN learners.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual emotional, social, and academic needs.
- Support students in developing core subject knowledge, study skills, and exam confidence.
- Create a safe, consistent, and supportive learning environment that promotes engagement and progress.
- Track student progress and provide regular feedback to parents, carers, or relevant professionals.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths or English.
- Experience working with SEN students in a one-to-one or small group setting.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
Desirable Qualifications:
- PGCE in Secondary Education.
- Experience supporting students with Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
