The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons and helping students to achieve their full potential. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS · Location: Salford · Position: Maths Teacher · Type of Work: Teaching Mathematics across KS3 & KS4 · Start Date: Immediate · Contract Type: Long-Term · Full-Time/Part-Time: Full Time · Rate of Pay: GBP162.31 - GBP251.71 per day (dependant on MPS/UPS) · Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm THE ROLE · Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4. · Assess, monitor, and report on student progress. · Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners. · Foster a positive and productive learning environment. · Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement. · Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department. · Contribute to the wider school community where appropriate. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS · Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification. · Experience teaching Mathematics within a UK secondary school. · Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding. · Excellent classroom management skills. · Ability to motivate and inspire young people. · ECTs are encouraged to apply.
