Job Title: 1:1 Tutor – Maths & English (KS4)
Location: S70 – Barnsley (Home-based tuition)
Start Date: September 2025
End Date: Ongoing,
Hours: 10 hours per week- with the opportunity to increase hours with more tuition students
Pay: GBP20-GBP30 per hour, dependent on experience
About the Role:
Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and experienced tutor to deliver one-to-one tuition in Maths and English to a Year 10 student based at home in the S70 area of Barnsley. Tuition will be for 10 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to be agreed with the family. This is a long-term, ongoing role starting from September 2025.

Requirements:
· Strong subject knowledge in both English and Maths (KS3/KS4/GCSE level)
· Experience with one-to-one tutoring
· Enhanced DBS on the update service (recommended but not required as we can aid in application)
· Professional, reliable, and nurturing approach
· Right to work within the UK
· Higher education (Bachelors NCFE etc)
