We are working with a small, specialist setting in Preston (PR2) who are looking to add several teaching assistants to their small yet highly supportive team.
Our school provides a tailored education to young people aged between 11 and 18, who find accessing mainstream education challenging – there will be a high focus on building professional, respectful and meaningful relationships with young people who need consistency and focus in their education.
Despite being a small setting, our Headteacher prides themselves on offering an inclusive learning environment where young people can thrive.

- Minimum rate of pay – GBP100
- Hours – 8:30am to 4pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- – Recent Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher, OR Experience as a TA in a similar setting, OR experience working with young people in a vocational/coaching capacity
- – Previous experience working in a UK school
- – Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- – Hold Right to Work in the UK
- – Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- – Provide two professional child related references
