Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a dedicated and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join a well-established Further Education College in Rotherham. This is a part-time temporary opportunity commencing in September 2026 and continuing through to December 2026.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering BTEC Psychology to FE learners, planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire students and support positive academic outcomes.
The Role
- Deliver BTEC Psychology to Further Education students
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirements
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to college policies and procedures
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Psychology within an FE College, sixth form or secondary setting
- Knowledge of the BTEC Psychology curriculum
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
