Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and experienced SEN Primary Outreach Tutor to deliver bespoke education packages on a 1:1 basis to young people in Havering who are not currently attending school.
As an Outreach Tutor, you will be responsible for creating, planning, and delivering tailored lessons that support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping to bridge gaps in their education and boost engagement and attainment levels.
This opportunity is ideal for a qualified teacher with strong SEN experience who is looking to step away from the traditional classroom environment to provide more personalised and impactful learning. Many of these pupils will have been out of education for some time and may present with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or additional learning difficulties. Confidence levels may be low, so it is essential that you can build trust, re-engage pupils in their learning, and provide structure to their daily routine.
Prospero Teaching will work closely with you to monitor the progression of each pupil and support effective learning outcomes.
