About the Role

  • Deliver high-quality, personalised teaching for pupils across KS2-KS4, with a focus on complex needs
  • Plan, adapt, and differentiate engaging lessons to meet EHCP outcomes, developmental milestones, and sensory requirements
  • Support pupils' holistic development - academic, social, emotional, and communication skills
  • Collaborate closely with the SENCO, learning support staff, therapists, and families to provide a consistent and effective approach
  • Monitor pupil progress, contribute to reports, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in an SEN setting (or strong SEN knowledge within a mainstream environment)
  • A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to classroom management
  • Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to nurturing every child’s progress

To be eligible you must

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
