We are looking for a QTS SEN Tutor to join our team in Rochdale. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and those working below expected levels. If you are a qualified teacher with experience supporting SEN students and are passionate about making a positive impact, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored one-to-one GCSE Maths and English lessons to SEN students.
- Adapt lesson plans and teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each student, including emotional regulation and diverse learning styles.
- Help students build subject knowledge, improve study skills, and enhance exam confidence.
- Foster a supportive, safe, and consistent learning environment that helps students thrive.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring in Maths or English.
- Experience working with SEN students in a one-to-one or small group setting.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
Desirable Qualifications:
- PGCE in Secondary Education.
- Experience with students who have Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
