We are working with a specialist SEND school in Rochdale that supports young people aged 11-19 with a wide range of complex special educational needs, including complex autism. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in developing their Engage provision and informal curriculum offer, helping learners build the skills they need to thrive in adult life.
About the Role:
As Provision Coordinator, you will take a leading role in shaping and delivering a specialist offer for learners with complex autism, ensuring the curriculum is meaningful, engaging, and tailored to individual needs. You will work closely with teaching and support staff to lead, direct, and develop provision, while building strong relationships with learners, colleagues, and the wider school community.
Provision Coordinator Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the Engage provision and informal curriculum offer for learners with complex autism
- Lead, direct, and develop teaching and support staff within the provision
- Inspire and motivate young people in their learning and personal development
- Build positive, trusting relationships with learners, staff, and the wider school community
- Support learners in preparing fully for adult life, promoting independence and life skills
