A specialist post-16 provision in Rochdale is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support students aged 16-19 with complex learning needs. The role focuses on communication, social interaction, and life skills, using a person-centred approach as students prepare for greater independence.
What you'll do:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to post-16 learners
- Support communication, social interaction, and daily living skills
- Contribute to person-centred planning and EHCP targets
- Help create a calm, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Work closely with staff, families, and external agencies
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with young people with SEND, ideally in a school, residential, or community setting.

- A relevant qualification in support, care, or education is desirable but not essential
