We are currently recruiting a caring and reliable Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in friendly and supportive schools across Rochdale. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children reach their full potential.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 (depending on placement)
  • Support children with additional learning needs, including SEND
  • Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities
  • Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
  • Encourage engagement, confidence, and independence in learners

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting
  • A patient, supportive, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
