We are currently recruiting a caring and reliable Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in friendly and supportive schools across Rochdale. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
The Role:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 (depending on placement)
- Support children with additional learning needs, including SEND
- Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities
- Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Encourage engagement, confidence, and independence in learners
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting
- A patient, supportive, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
