Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join a well-regarded secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This full-time role involves providing 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN and behavioural needs.

Location: Tower Hamlets, East London

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Ongoing until the end of the academic year, with potential extension

Hours: Full-time, 8:00am-4:00pm

Responsibilities:

  • Support students with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia and behavioural needs
  • Provide 1:1 and small group interventions
  • Work closely with teaching staff to support learning and development
  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
  • Build strong relationships with students and staff

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable)
  • Teaching Assistant or support work experience (desirable)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (desirable)
  • Passion for education and supporting young people
  • Reliable, punctual and committed
