Religious Education (RE) Teacher – Location: West Newcastle – Contract: Long term – Start Date: After Oct half term

Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate and dynamic Religious Education Teacher to join one of our school\\\’s Humanities faculty. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a real difference in the lives of young people, helping them explore big questions about belief, ethics, and the world around them.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Foster a respectful and inclusive learning environment where all beliefs are valued and explored
- Inspire students to think critically about religion, philosophy, ethics, and contemporary moral issues
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including assemblies, clubs, and cross-curricular initiatives
What We\’re Looking For
You will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy or a related field
- A passion for teaching RE and a strong understanding of the UK RE curriculum
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and respect in education
