Location: Manchester (M13)

Hours: 8:30am-4pm

Pay: 95-105 per day, depending on experience

Start date: 05/01/2026

Prospero Teaching are currently working with a primary pupil referral unit to recruit recent psychology graduates to join their team in January. The school supports pupils aged between 7-11, with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

As a Psychology Graduate TA, you will:

  • Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, building strong relationships
  • Collaborate with other staff members and external agencies to implement strategies
  • Offer both academic and emotional mentoring to pupils, contributing towards an inclusive and positive learning environment

What We Are Looking For:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Team Teach Level 2 is highly desired (training can be provided if needed)
  • Previous experience within a mentoring or youth work position, supporting challenging behaviour

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
