Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a recent psychology graduate to join a lovely SEN school in Cheadle, as a teaching assistant. This is a full time position to start ASAP, with likelihood of temp to perm.

The Role:

  • Providing tailored support, working with children with SEN and complex needs
  • Providing personal care
  • Creating a safe environment that allows children to have fun, learn and succeed
  • Providing academic support

Location: Stockport (Cheadle Hulme)

Position: SEN TA

Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm

Type of Work: Temporary

Full time/Part time: Full time only

Minimum Rate of Pay: Β£105 per day, depending on experience

End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • A recent graduate looking for work experience within SEN
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN/ experience supporting those with complex needs in a care setting
  • Strong teamwork ethic
  • Driven, energetic and keen to pursue a career within education and SEN

ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
