Prospero teaching is looking for tutors to work with schools, Local Authorities and Virtual Schools Teams across the North West. As well as private enquires we work mainly with LAC and students who are often experiencing a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties and who are not often working to age – related levels. Therefore it would be ideal if you have some experience in this field. We are building a strong, professional and reliable team in areas such as Blackpool, Fleetwood, Thornton Cleveleys and Preston. If you hold a certificate in education or above and have a passion for working with a variety of young learners then we need you to join our team! Tuition takes place generally in school daytime hours but also a popular time of after school 3-4pm and evening. Sessions can range between 1 – 4 hours on a daily or weekly basis. Sessions can be in a student’s home. School or care home. Contract/Position Details: Location – Within the community or pupils’ home Position -SEN Tutor Type of work – Contract Start date – ASAP Duration – Ongoing End date (if applicable) – Ongoing Contract type – Temporary Full-time/part-time – Part time Minimum rate of pay – £25 per hour Hours – Working hours can differentiate, depending on the convenient timings of the family To be eligible for this role, the potential Tutor must: Hold the right to work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child-related references.
