Teaching Assistant Prospero Teaching are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic Good Ofsted rated SEMH School located Blandford Forum, Dorset supporting pupils with SEMH/ADHD/Autism. This is a great opportunity, to help enrich and develop childrens lives whilst improving attendance and attitudes towards learning. You will be working with an excellent team and joining a fantastic school where you can make a difference, playing a key role in the development of students. The successful candidate will be working with pupils who have been identified with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs) helping to improve Contract Details: Location: Blandford Forum, Dorset Position: Teaching Assistant Type of work: 1:1 Intervention Start date: September 2024 Contract type: Temp/Perm Full time/part time: Full-Time Minimum rate of pay: £85.15-95.00 per day Experience, Training and Qualifications needed for Teaching Assistant role: Previous experience in education is required, ideally within the SEN Sector, although this is not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire. Previous experience working with challenging behaviour would be advantageous A passion for working with children with SEMH. Pro Active in the classroom and a willingness to join in with class activities. You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude towards working with SEN students.
