Whether you’re looking for daily supply work, short-term contracts, or long-term placements, we have opportunities to suit your availability and experience. Location – st helens and warringotn area Position – Teaching Assistant Type of work – working under the direction of the class teacher Contract or position start date – ASAP Duration – Ongoing Contract or position end date – Ongoing Contract type – Temporary Full time/part time – Full time Minimum rate of pay – Negotiable Hours – 8:20 am – 4:00pm : Mon – Fri (term time only) Why Choose Prospero Teaching? Helping with classroom management and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment. Supervising children during break times, lunch, and other school activities. Experience, Training and Qualifications: Previous experience working with children, either in a school setting or similar role. A passion for education and supporting young people. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.. Safeguarding: Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative. If you haven’t completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months, Prospero Teaching can provide you with a free course. To be eligible for any job with Prospero Teaching, you must: Hold Right to Work in the UK. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application.
