Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity? We are seeking a talented PPA Cover Teacher to join a vibrant mainstream primary school in Shard End, Birmingham. This full-time position is set to start in January 2025 and will involve covering classes from EYFS to Year 6. For the right candidate this role may go temp to perm. **Please note ECTs are not currently being considered** Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective lessons across all primary year groups. Support the diverse needs of students, fostering an inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure continuity in learning. Maintain a positive and productive classroom atmosphere. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location – Shard End, Birmingham Position – PPA Cover Teacher Type of work – PPA Cover Teacher Contract or position start date – 6th Jan 2025 Duration / Likely Duration – 2 terms until end of the academic year July 2025 Contract or position end date (if applicable) – July 2025 Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) – Temporary Full time/part time – Full time Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate GBP150 per day Hours – 8:30 am – 4pm : Mon – Fri (term time only) EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS or equivalent Minimum 1 year primary teaching experience in the UK, experience across the primary age range Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
