We are looking for educators with a genuine passion for transforming the lives Looked After & SEN Children, as well as the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners. Prospero Teaching will provide support via our consultants and Training and Development Team. We are looking for Primary tutors who are eager to work with children and young people with a variety of learning needs in a creative, flexible, holistic and trauma-informed manner to raise their engagement and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey. We are specifically in need of a tutor who can speak Arabic to support a Primary student in the Crumpsall area. The successful candidate will have outstanding teaching skills both in the classroom and when delivering innovative and engaging learning on a 1:1 basis and have a passion for helping learners from a range of backgrounds to develop their English & Maths skills. Contract/Position Details: · Location - North Manchester · Position - Primary Tutor · Type of work - Contract · Start date - ASAP · Duration / Likely Duration - Until sufficient progression is made · End date (if applicable) - N/A · Contract type - Temporary · Full-time/part-time - Part time (dependent on pupils needs) · Minimum rate of pay - GBP25+ per hour · Hours - Timetable can vary dependent on pupil availability (during the school day) Experience, Training and Qualifications of the Primary Tutor: · QTS or equivalent · A minimum of 1-year tutoring experience · Be confident teaching Primary students · Provide a firm but fair approach · Have recent safeguarding training or willing to undergo Prosperos course To be eligible for this role, the potential Primary Tutor must: · Hold the right to work in the UK · Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application · Provide two professional child-related references.
