Primary Tutor
Our Primary Tutors play an essential role in helping students who need extra support in core subjects. We understand that every learner’s journey is unique, which is why we offer flexible hours to fit around your schedule and the chance to make a meaningful, lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one or small group lessons in Maths and English, tailored to primary-level learning needs.
- Adapt lesson content and pace to suit different learning styles and abilities.
- Support students in building subject knowledge, study skills, and confidence.
- Establish a trusting and consistent rapport to create a safe, supportive learning environment.
- Monitor progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to parents/carers or professionals as required.
Essential Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths or English at primary level.
- Experience working with learners in a 1:1 or small group setting.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Must hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check.
Desirable Qualifications
- PGCE in Primary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience supporting students with additional learning needs.
