Prospero Teaching is seeking a confident and committed Primary Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive Key Stage 2 team, working with pupils in Year 5/6. This full-time role is to start immediately and offers the potential for a permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils in Year 5/6 with their learning, both in class and through small group interventions
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Promote positive behaviour and pupil engagement
- Help pupils build confidence and achieve their academic goals
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Qualifications
- Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally in KS2
- Enthusiastic, patient, and reliable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
