The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate teacher who:

  • Has experience working in mainstream or SEN primary settings
  • Specialises in English, Literacy and Communication development
  • Can deliver differentiated and engaging lessons tailored to a range of learning needs, including children with ASD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to complex learning needs
  • Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Has a strong commitment to inclusive education and raising pupil attainment

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, structured, and supportive lessons focused on developing core English and communication skills
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit individual EHCPs and learning styles
  • Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress
  • Foster a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals to support holistic development

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has substantial primary teaching experience
  • Demonstrates expertise or training in English, Literacy or Communication-focused interventions
  • Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting is highly desirable
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and a nurturing approach
