Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and additional learning needs? Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for a dedicated ASC Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a highly supportive specialist school in the Portsmouth area. Experienced Teaching Assistants with a background in autism support, special educational needs, or primary education are encouraged to apply. The Role Location: Portsmouth Position: SEND Autism Spectrum Condition (ASc) Primary TA Start date: ASAP Duration / Likely Duration: Ongoing Contract type: Long term Full time/part time: Full time Minimum rate of pay: £140 per day Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pmExperience and Training Teaching Assistant qualification (preferable but not essential) Previous experience working in a UK School Experience working with children in education or in a similar setting Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training can be provided)To Be Eligible, You Must Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional, child-related referencesOther If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up-to-date CV.
