Prospero Teaching are working closely with a Good Ofsted rated mixed secondary school in Whitefield, M45, who are looking for a Teacher of Science to join them from September 2026. The school has a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional and inspiring Science teacher to join a well-established and high-achieving department in a school where students are well behaved and engaged in their learning.
Applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged, with a strong ECT support package available where appropriate. - Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, plus parent evenings and department meetings
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
- QTS or equivalent
- Science teaching experience in UK secondary schools (all specialisms considered)
- Strong subject knowledge across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential)
- Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year
Eligibility Requirements:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child‑related references covering the last 2 years
