We are working in partnership with a well-established and community-focused primary school in the Prestwich area that is seeking to appoint a committed and skilled Key Stage 2 Teacher from September 2026. The Role

As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of teaching and learning within the KS2 curriculum, ensuring all pupils are supported and challenged appropriately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
  • Create a positive and purposeful classroom environment that promotes high expectations
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
  • Contribute to curriculum development and whole-school initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective teaching practice
  • Exhibit excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Be committed to raising achievement and supporting pupil wellbeing
  • Work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Two professional references relating to working with children
