Start Date: September 2026

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent / Long-Term (flexible)

Salary: £168-£232 per day (dependent on experience)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

The Role

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You will play a key role in developing students' literacy skills, critical thinking, and appreciation for literature.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
  • Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations, ensuring strong outcomes
  • Create an inclusive and focused classroom environment with clear expectations for behaviour

The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Eligibility Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
