We are seeking a Year 4 tutor to provide 1:1 Maths tuition for a young person currently not accessing school but remaining on roll. The purpose of this tuition is to support re-engagement with learning and work towards reintegration into an education setting. S has experienced disruption in the early stages of learning, which is impacting his ability to fully access the Year 4 Maths curriculum. He requires targeted support focusing on place value and times tables. S is on the SEN register for SEMH but does not have any specific learning difficulties. He would benefit from a tutor who has an understanding of attachment-related needs and can provide calm, consistent support.

Key details:

  • 1:1 Maths tuition - only introduced once a relationship has been built
  • Preferred day: Tuesday afternoon
  • Duration: 1 hour per week (£25-£30 an hour)
