Year 5 Tutor - Poole Area

Attention Education Professionals! Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Tutor to support a primary-aged pupil in the Poole area. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide tailored one-to-one tuition, helping a Year 5 student build confidence, strengthen their English and Maths skills, and prepare for the transition into Year 6 in a supportive learning environment. As a Tutor, you will deliver engaging, personalised lessons and complete weekly feedback reports to monitor the pupil's progress, achievements, and overall development. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location: Poole Position: Year 5 Tutor Subject: Primary (Year 5 - English and Maths) Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Contract Type: Part-time Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour Hours: Flexible EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS The following are desirable, but not essential: QTS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent teaching qualification Experience teaching or tutoring within a UK primary school Up-to-date Safeguarding training (issued within the last year) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Have the Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one Provide two professional child-related references Have a minimum of one year's experience working within an educational setting WHY JOIN PROSPERO TEACHING?
