PMLD Teaching Assistant – Bury: Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with PMLD at a school near to Bury. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent psychology graduate. Role Responsibilities: Assisting with personal care Working with challenging behaviours Building rapport with students, parents and staffPosition Details: Location: Bury Position: PMLD TA Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm Minimum rate of pay: £90 per day, depending on experience Start date: Jan 2025 End date: Ongoing Type of Work: Temporary Full time/Part time: Full time onlyExperience, Training & Qualifications: Relevant experience working with children Up to date safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold right to work in the UK Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references OTHER: If you would like to be considered for any primary teaching roles, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
