- Rate of Pay:
- Teaching Assistants: £95.00 - £110.00 per day
- Qualified Teachers: £140.00 - £220.00 per day (depending on experience)
About the Role:
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs within a specialist education setting? We are working in partnership with Peak Education across Cannock, Stoke and Stafford, supporting pupils with a range of needs including SEND, SEMH, autism and behavioural challenges. The provision offers a structured, supportive and nurturing environment focused on helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve meaningful academic and personal progress.
We are looking for both Qualified Teachers and Teaching Assistants who are resilient, adaptable and committed to making a difference within specialist and alternative provision settings.
As part of the team, you will:
- Support pupils with SEND, SEMH and additional behavioural needs.
- Deliver or assist with differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning levels.
- Implement behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies.
- Support the implementation of EHCP targets and personalised learning plans.
- Contribute to a structured, safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements for Qualified Teachers:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS or equivalent recognised qualification).
- Experience teaching pupils with SEND, SEMH or behavioural needs is desirable.
- Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies.
Requirements for Teaching Assistants:
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, SEMH or behavioural needs is desirable.
- A patient, resilient and proactive approach.
- Confidence supporting behaviour management strategies and 1:1 support.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for one
- Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last two years
