Prospero Teaching is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a thriving independent co-educational day school in Barnet. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support students\’ physical education and games, with the potential for longer-term work beyond the initial placement.

THE PE TEACHING ROLE:

  • Teach core PE and games across Key Stages 3 – 4.
  • Support students with GCSE PE coursework (Edexcel Pearson) this role does not require delivery of the GCSE PE course.
  • Contribute to extra-curricular sports and school games programmes.
  • Work collaboratively within the PE department to maintain high standards of teaching and student engagement.

ABOUT THE SUCCESSFUL PE TEACHER:

  • Must hold QTS.
  • Passionate about PE and sport, able to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • A positive team player who is flexible and committed to supporting the wider school community.
