About the role

Are you a dedicated tutor with skills in both Maths and English? Join Prospero and make a real impact in Oldham! We are looking for passionate part-time tutors to support students across Oldham borough (including Royton, Denshaw, Mossley, and Middleton) with both Maths and English tuition.

Role details

  • Approx. 20 hours/week, flexible between 9am and 3pm
  • Pay: £27-£30 per hour
  • Deliver high-quality tuition in both Maths and English following the UK curriculum
  • Ability to travel locally to assigned locations is essential

What you need

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred but not essential
  • Proven UK-based experience tutoring or teaching both Maths and English
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
  • Ability to provide two professional references covering at least 2 years (since 2023)
  • Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) children is highly desirable
  • Reliable, flexible, and passionate about student progress
