We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming SEN primary school supporting children aged 2-11 with complex needs, including autism, PMLD, and SLD.

As an HLTA, you will work closely with class teachers and the wider SEN team to support pupils' learning and development. You will lead small group sessions, assist with planning and delivering tailored activities, and help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that meets the diverse needs of each child.

This is a nurturing and inclusive SEN school dedicated to supporting pupils with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, autism, and complex medical needs. The school provides a caring and stimulating environment where every child can thrive and achieve their potential.

Requirements:

  • HLTA status or relevant higher-level qualification
  • Experience supporting SEN pupils, ideally in a specialist setting
